Does language effect your travel plans?

It’s safe to say, we all love to travel here in this group. It’s the one thing that connects us all – although it’s clear we all have different reasons and goals for our travels!

Whatever the reasons are that you chose to travel, we want to know if language comes into your decision-making? Do you think about potential language barriers before deciding on a travel destination? Has it maybe put you off going to a certain country you’d like to visit?

Let us know in the comments!

I’ve always wanted to drive through the Black Forest and work my way across to Munich but I don’t know any German and my attempts to learn even the most basic of phrases have been massive failures! I think not knowing the language has definitely stopped me from going sadly, that and my lack of travel buddies!

I used to be like that! There were so many places I wanted to go but I was too afraid to because of the language barriers but once I got my CLIK S translation earbuds it honestly isn’t an issue anymore! I’ve toured most of Asia now with little to no trouble at all in regards to language issues and there are honestly so many languages in Asia so that’s really saying something!

Maybe it’s time I made an investment and got myself some CLIK S earbuds!

I second that! I used my earbuds when I went to Italy and I got so much more out of my trip. I ended up leaving my hotel complex in Milan and staying at a family-ran camping lodge around Lake Como with some other tourists I’d met. Without MyJuno app or CLIK S I doubt I would have had the confidence or capability to make new friends and switch up my trip.
